Throughout February, we honor the countless contributions and achievements of African Americans who have shaped our history.

Follow along as we highlight civil rights pioneers, influential leaders, groundbreaking inventors, inspirational artists, and barrier-breaking pioneers from the past and present.

We'll also share activities, book lists, and ways our schools are teaching and honoring Black History Month.

From Harriet Tubman to Barack Obama, Rosa Parks to Simone Biles, the stories of Black heroes provide important lessons to empower future generations. We are proud to uplift these stories and honor this integral part of our shared history.
